Certificate
You can think of a certificate as a digital proof of identity. It verifies that your device is actually connecting to publicroam and not to a network masquerading as publicroam.
For most devices, you don’t need to install the publicroam CA certificate yourself. While setting up publicroam, you can usually easily specify publicroam.co.uk as a trusted domain or you will be automatically prompted to trust the certificate.
Only on some devices is it necessary to manually add the Publicroam CA certificate.

In most cases, you don’t need to install the certificate manually. During configuration, you can usually use the domain publicroam.co.uk for certificate checking. Only on some older or different devices is a manual installation of the CA certificate required.
