What does Equalit do for customers?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wifi is now so taken for granted that we hardly think about the risks. Yet public Wi-Fi is often vulnerable: hackers and Wi-Fi sniffers can watch or intercept data undetected. Publicroam offers a secure and privacy-friendly solution for this. Visitors sign up once for free, then automatically and securely connect at each of the now 1,500 (and growing) participating locations in the Netherlands – from town halls and libraries, port operators, theaters, provinces and health care institutions … and now the Concertgebouw. Meanwhile, Publicroam has more than 500,000 (!) registered users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The growth of secure wifi is supported in part by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, SIDN Fund and the municipalities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and The Hague, which is helping public organizations transition from open wifi to a secure solution through the Zorgeloos Verbinden scheme. In doing so, the Netherlands is taking an important step toward a future in which secure Wi-Fi is as self-evident as clean drinking water or street lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
